Central London welcomed
ten striking gold table tennis tables across the capital,
celebrating the centenary year of the IITF World Table Tennis Championships Finals as it returned to the capital
100 years later.
Locals, workers and visitors alike are welcomed to pick up a racquet and join the celebrations -
tables are available through to late May and are free to play. A highlight not to be missed
is the striking golden table outside
St Paul's Cathedral taking the form of a padel-style table
tennis court, an unforgettable opportunity to play beneath one of London's most iconic landmarks.
The initiative forms part of the celebration of the highly anticipated
World Table Tennis Championships, which sees the world's best athletes compete
in London during this landmark centenary year for the sport.
